Billing Terms

Effective: 20 August 2026

The published paid rate is USD $0.10 for each 1,000 newly accepted items, rounded up to the next 1,000-item billing unit for the monthly billing period. An accepted item is one webhook event, mailbox message, or A2A handoff stored by PromptJang.

Live billing is disabled during the founder-assisted beta. Founder-provisioned workspaces use exempt access, PromptJang records local usage for operational validation, and no charge or Stripe invoice is created. The remaining payment and failure terms apply only after paid billing is explicitly activated for a workspace.

Retries, mailbox reads, claims, acknowledgements, replays, rejected requests, idempotent duplicates, and public simulations do not create billable usage.

Billable usage

An event becomes billable when PromptJang accepts the authenticated request and creates the event record. Delivery retries, manual replays, rejected requests, idempotent duplicates, and public demo simulations are not billable.

The dashboard provides a local estimate. Stripe meter events are processed asynchronously, and the Stripe invoice is the billing source of record.

Payment and suspension

After paid billing launches, a valid payment method is required before API-key creation and Stripe invoices monthly. If payment fails, PromptJang provides a three-day grace period. After the grace period, new event ingestion and API-key creation are suspended while event-history and billing access remain available.

Taxes and disputes

Prices exclude taxes. PromptJang does not automatically calculate tax during the founder-assisted beta. Customers are responsible for applicable self-assessment unless an invoice states otherwise.

Paid beta access is limited to billing jurisdictions PromptJang has reviewed for invoicing, tax, and support.
